High School Youth Group

5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. | Sundays

Senior High Youth Group meets at the Golden Center for Student Ministry, located at 711 6th Street NW. During this time, we seek to encourage one another as we grow as disciples of Christ. Students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of events throughout the year. By engaging in activities that are centered around the themes of Bible study, service and fellowship, youth are encouraged to continue growing as they journey together in faith. Come experience life as part of a community of Christ followers with our High School Youth Group!

Middle School Youth Group

5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. | Wednesdays

Middle Schoolers meet at the Golden Center for Student Ministry every Wednesday afternoon. The focus of our middle school youth group is simple: love God, love others and follow Jesus. Come and join us!

Mission-minded Youth

Serving others is a great way to experience the power and love of God in our lives. Students have many opportunities to serve God and others through various service projects throughout the year. Locally, students serve at our Soup Kitchen and Bag Lunch Ministries. They also organize and participate in the Souper Bowl of Caring project to help raise food and funds for hungry people. Our youth also serve at various Hands and Feet Projects each month where they meet the needs of members from our congregation, including basic yard work, house visits, and minor home repairs. Students organize and make care packages for residents of the Agape House, a local women’s rehabilitation facility. In addition to the local missions, students also have the opportunity to take part in global missions by participating in our mission trip to Honduras every other year.

High School Montreat

Our High group attends Montreat summer conference. This is a unique gathering of young people from several states in the mountains of North Carolina. This week-long retreat strives to be a place of authentic community, connection and a place for God’s truth.

Middle School Great Escape

Our middle schoolers enjoy an action-packed summer trip to one of many regional destinations with Great Escape. The week-long retreat is a highlight of fun and energy. The focus of these weeks is to discover the love of Christ and His plan for our lives. July dates fill up early for this awesome experience.

Confirmation Program

Each school year, all sixth graders are invited to be a part of our confirmation class. This experience equips sixth graders with an understanding of the church and their faith. It prepares them to join the church and make their public profession of faith.

For more information on any of these programs, please call the church office at (863) 294-3121. Our parental consent form is available here.
