Leonard Mosiah was born and raised on the beautiful east coast of Durban South Africa located by the Indian Ocean. In 2012 Leonard moved to Chicago, Illinois to begin his studies at Moody Bible Institute and graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor in Evangelism and Discipleship with a minor in TESOL (Teaching English to speakers of other languages).
Prior to attending Moody, Leonard had been a high school Teacher and Sports coach and was mutually involved in various ministries globally. Leonard has worked closely with Youth for Christ internationally including the leadership of a performing arts team to Germany and U.S.A. He has been to 32 states in the U.S.
As he engages Student ministries at First Presbyterian, his vision is to build a strong biblical worldview and grow disciples that become disciple makers.
Leonard is nearing two years of marriage to Elizabeth, a native of Chicago who has a Master’s degree in Spiritual formations and discipleship but is currently enjoying time at home while caring for their eight month old son Micah. Leonard has a passion for sports, fishing, swimming, movies, and tasting different kinds of food as well as learning about different cultures.
