Twelve Weeks/Twelve Faces: Getting to Know the Disciples of Jesus

The class will explore the Bible and the traditions of the church concerning each of The Twelve (Simon, Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Thomas, Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, Thaddaeus, Simon the Cananaean, and Judas Iscariot) who walked the roads of Galilee and Judea with Jesus. Each class session will be a self- contained unit, as we focus on one disciple each week. Come and let your faith be enhanced as we get to know the stories behind the first ones to bear the title “disciples.” Dr. Steve Negley will lead this class for youth and adults. The class meets in the back of McLeod Hall.

Preschool and Elementary Children are invited on a journey through the Bible with Dr. Alan Harvey. During the summer, the children will focus on four Bible stories with hands-on crafts, movie/storytelling adventures, and delectable delights in the cooking room. Parents are needed to assist Dr. Harvey during the summer; please sign up on the bulletin board in the CE building.
