High School Youth Group - Beyond Belief!
|
Sundays 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Senior high youth fellowship meets on Sundays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. for an informal dinner,
high-energy games, group singing, and focus on Christ. The location is the new Student Center next to the church.
In this fellowship time we seek to encourage one another as we mature as Disciples of Christ.
Trained adult leaders facilitate the group and share in the lives of our young people. It’s truly fun and meaningful.
In fact, it’s Beyond Belief!

Mission-minded Youth
|
Serving others is a way to experience the power of God in our lives.
Middle school to College students have many opportunities to serve others and serve God
with mission projects throughout the year and special summer opportunities with overseas partners in Honduras.
Locally, our students help with our soup kitchen and hurricane relief projects.

Montreat Conferences

Our high schoolers have a yearly summer conference at Montreat in North Carolina.
Students from all around the country participate in this giant event.
Many opportunities are created for growth, laughter, worship and recreation.
We stay in our own housing and build a stronger community by the whole experience. Sign up early.

Other Awesome Retreats and Lock-ins
|
We build our community of young people by offering get-a-ways to Cedarkirk camp,
and high schoolers participate in a Daytona Beach retreat in the spring.
Concerts and lock-ins like Rock the Universe are a big draw as we start out each fall.
High school fellowship hits the ski slopes to bring in the New Year at the end of December.

Confirmation Program
|
Each school year all the sixth graders are invited to be a part of our confirmation class. This experience equips
sixth graders with an understanding of the church and their faith. It prepares them to join the church and make
their public profession of faith.
