Mission-minded Youth
|
Serving others is a great way to experience the power and love of God in our lives.
Students have many opportunities to serve God and others through various service projects throughout the year.
Locally, students serve at our Soup Kitchen and Bag Lunch Ministries.
They also organize and participate in the Souper Bowl of Caring Project to help raise food and funds for hungry people,
they serve at the Hands and Feet Project each month where they meet the needs of members from our congregation,
including basic yard work, house visits, and minor home repairs.
Students organize and make care packages for residents of the Agape House, a local women's rehabilitation facility.
In additition to the local missions students also have the opportunity to take part in global missions by participating in the mission trip to Honduras.
