I am thankful for water.

Matthew 5:44-45

⁴⁴ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, ⁴⁵ so that you may be children of your Father in heaven; for he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the righteous and on the unrighteous.

First Presbyterian Church is located in Winter Haven – the Chain of Lakes City. We live with and love water.

We play in the water. We bathe in water. We are refreshed by the water we drink. And where does that water come from?

Our Father in Heaven sends the rain.

We need it, and God provides.

I am thankful.

Thank you, God, for the rainy season. Thank you for showering down your blessings on this corner of your creation, and on this creature, your grateful child. Amen.
