Prayer

Loving God, for centuries the money jingling in our pockets has been a reminder of our priorities. Whether we are like the widow who dropped her meager coins into the alms box soliciting praise from our Lord, or Judas who traded his loyalty to the Christ for a fistful of silver, what we do with our money makes a difference in our lives. Help me to count my coins today, and then inspire me to share some of my resources with someone in need today. Let me put my money where my mouth is as a follower of Jesus. Amen.
