There is one additional banner that hangs alongside the Confessional Banners in McLeod Hall.

This banner was created by church member Pam Baker, as a part of a church Easter Vigil (a three-hour scriptural immersion on the night before Easter).

Like all the banners on display, this banner presents symbols of our faith

THE OPEN BIBLE. Reminds us that the word of God was our focus for the evening (and for our lives).

THE FIRE. Commemorated the start of the vigil as we let a bonfire from Christmas tree branches.

THE SHELL AND 3 WATER DROPS. Represented our renewal of our baptismal vows.

THE CUP AND LOAF. Showed how we ended the evening at the Table.

THE CROSS AT THE CENTER (with the Chi Rho Christogram in its center.) shows us that life and faith is centered in Jesus Christ our Lord.

We thank Pam again for her fabulous reminder of our faith.

Prayer

God, You have given stories, images, and incredible imaginations as You allow faith to come alive in each of us. Help us to live our faith and share our faith each and every day. In Jesus’ precious name we pray. Amen.
