The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.

Glory is what is due our God. Glory is the praise that creatures offer their Creator. Glory is how we respond to the One who gives us life — who redeems us from the mess we sometimes make of our lives — and who makes our lives make sense.
When we realize that we are a part of God’s kingdom, and that we revel in God’s power, then glory be to God.
Glory be to You, O God, for all Your glorious deeds. In Christ’s name we pray. Amen.
