Exodus 4:13-17

But he said, “O my Lord, please send someone else.” Then the anger of the Lord was kindled against Moses, and he said, “What of your brother Aaron, the Levite? I know that he can speak well; even now he is coming out to meet you, and when he sees you his heart will be glad. You shall speak to him and put the words in his mouth, and I will be with your mouth and with his mouth and will teach you what you shall do. He indeed shall speak for you to the people; he shall serve as a mouth for you, and you shall serve as God for him. Take in your hand this staff, with which you shall perform the signs.”

Prayer

Merciful God, thank You for the blessings You have given me. All that I have is a gift from You. Help me to be aware of that and to be grateful. Empower me to use the strengths You have given me to be Your disciple and to faithfully respond to Your call. You have provided me with all the tools I need to live a life dedicated to You. Thank You for the people, like Aaron, that You have placed in my life who walk alongside me when things are difficult. Help me to be that type of person for others in my life. I give You thanks for the gift of friendship and companionship. Be with me today and strengthen me to be Your servant. Amen.
