During the season of Lent, we will be looking around the church and sharing images, photos, paintings, and other items that help us to focus more closely on God. Let us prepare our hearts to worship…

When he was at the table with them, he took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them. Then their eyes were opened, and they recognized him; and he vanished from their sight. They said to each other, “Were not our hearts burning within us while he was talking to us on the road, while he was opening the scriptures to us?”

Luke 24:30-32

Prayer

Merciful God, forgive us for when we fail to recognize Your presence. Thank you for walking with us in all parts of our life. You are with us on the mountain top and in the pit and we are grateful. Help us to be mindful of Your role in our lives and to share with others the ways You have enriched our lives. In Your name we pray, Amen.
