Prayer

God, as we enter this 40-day period of preparing ourselves for Holy Week and Easter, let us focus on our Lord and Savior, Jesus, who walked the path to the cross. As He fasted for 40 days, help us to depend on Your Word for our nourishment and strength. As He prayed to You for guidance, help us to listen for You to speak. Bless each day of this journey, and give us rest for our souls. Amen.
