John 1:1-14

Christmas Day 1938 Santa Claus brought me a new doll when I was two years old and I named her Honeysuckle! Mary Lou needed a friend. We enjoyed playing together every day …mainly inside during the winter.

In this picture, Mary Lou and Honeysuckle and I are sitting outside in the summertime playing together.

Walking and dancing were favorite exercises when I was a little older. I loved wearing my boots! Santa Claus brought me the newest type walking doll for Christmas in 1941. I went into the living room and saw Jeannie Walker!!! We had a wonderful time walking and playing during the holidays and long after. I have been walking and running ever since those wonderful early years.

Prayer

O God, who did so love the world that You gave Your Son Jesus so that whoever believes in Him shall have eternal life, we thank You. What pleases You most is seeing a personal relationship developing between us and Your Son. You take delight when we walk with Him and talk with Him. Help us cherish and cultivate that relationship even as we pray for those who do not yet know Jesus as we know Him. In His name we pray. Amen.
