Prayer

God of New Beginnings and New Days, I give You thanks for the gift of today. I marvel at the ways You are present around me; in conversations with friends and family, in the glory of the morning, and in beauty of new life. Holy God, help me to recognize Your presence today and to celebrate Your hand in all the things that are new around me. May I have the courage today to stop and give You thanks. Empower me to share with others the ways You have been active in my life. Amen.
