Now we are getting to the real test of our faith, patience! I am persuaded that in order to have patience at all it takes a strong faith. Think about it for a moment as we explore what faith entails. All the fruits of the spirit go into all the aspects of life which keeps us patient with our families, our friends, our world, and all that is happening.

Paul wrote to the Galatians to teach them what their life ought to look like if they live by the Spirit of God. In order to really have patience we have to live with love. There is no way we can even begin to have patience if we do not love, and I mean really love! Even joy, if we don’t have the spirit of joy, there is no way we can live in our upside down world with patience.

Run thru all the fruits of the Spirit and I think you will agree with me that each one of the fruits help us to have the spirit of patience. In my way of thinking, it’s the only way any of us can live patiently in the world we exist in. Let us really and truly thank God our Creator for this wondrous aspect of patience because living in this world we would actually be lost without it.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, how grateful I am that through Your wondrous love by having patience with me, I have learned how to be patient with all others. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
