This nativity set is displayed in our Centennial Room inside the Presbyterian Women’s display cabinet, a beech nut carved with the central figures of the Nativity, Mary, Joseph, and the Christ Child. The intimately of this holy family and it fits in the palm of your hand, reminds of the humble beginnings of the Lord of Lords.

Scripture: John 3:16-17

For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

Prayer

Gracious Lord, as we call to mind Your humble beginnings and entrance in the human condition, we hold tight that promise of Your love transforming us and the world. Begin with us, we pray, Amen.
