Where many of my nativity sets include only the holy family (Mary, Joseph, and the Baby Jesus), and others have lots of other figurines scattered all around, this stone nativity includes it all in one piece. And the focus for praise is right in the center with a smiling baby. Then we have the parents, the kings, and an angel and a shepherd and a sheep all turned in the right direction to praise our King. Just as the world should be this day.

The Greatness and Goodness of God

¹ Rejoice in the Lord, O you righteous.
    Praise befits the upright.
² Praise the Lord with the lyre;
    make melody to him with the harp of ten strings.
³ Sing to him a new song;
    play skillfully on the strings, with loud shouts.

⁴ For the word of the Lord is upright,
    and all his work is done in faithfulness.
⁵ He loves righteousness and justice;
    the earth is full of the steadfast love of the Lord.

Help me, God, to focus on You in praise during this wonderful season. Amen.
