The biblical book of Ruth is a short story of life, death, love, and devotion. It considers the question– Is true family granted or created? The three main characters, Ruth, Naomi, and Boaz all play crucial roles in the drama that we call human life. And God blesses them in the end. At the conclusion of the story, we also discover that Ruth of Moab, someone outside the Hebrew realm, is actually the great grandmother of King David.

Ruth 1:16-19

Ruth said,

and there will I be buried.
May the Lord do thus to me,
    and more as well,
