Philippians 2:1-3

If then there is any encouragement in Christ, any consolation from love, any sharing in the Spirit, any compassion and sympathy, make my joy complete: be of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility regard others as better than yourselves.

The cross in its various forms serves as the preeminent graphical sign of the Christian church. The “Greek Cross” is formed by four arms of equal lengths. The Greek cross is often found carved or marked on church furnishings and is a very common artistic representation of the cross. The Red Cross uses a form of this cross in its logo.

Prayer

Merciful God, the cross is a reminder of Your love for us. We give You thanks for Your love, care, and guidance. Strengthen us to walk Your path and to share Your love with everyone we meet today. Amen.
