Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!
His faithful love endures forever.
Has the Lord redeemed you? Then speak out!
Tell others He has redeemed you from your enemies.
For He has gathered the exiles from many lands,
From east and west, from north and south.
Have you ever experienced God is such a way it took your breath away because you knew He had answered a prayer? Have you had an experience that was undeniably God? I have. Times like these are so exciting. When these experiences occur I can’t help but to speak out! The excitement you feel in knowing that God is with you and answered your prayer in a big way is amazing. If you have a story so exciting you simply must share it then do just that. There are times when you are 99% sure God told you to do something and 1% not so sure. Then suddenly he reveals to you that it was Him and you are filled with joy and awe knowing you were obedient to his will. These verses remind us to speak out about those times. Share the good news that is Jesus Christ. It is important that we share our faith with others. We want all to hear the great things He has done for us. We have so much to be thankful for. Let’s tell the world. In a world where people are trying everyday to take God out of everything it is our job as followers of Jesus Christ to tell all the world of His great works. Not because we have to, but because the Holy Spirit lives in us we have a desire to share how He is working in our lives. It isn’t a chore to be obedient and to tell the world. Instead it is our greatest joy. If Jesus has done miraculous things in your life, share it! Speak out as verse two reminds us to do. The world needs to hear how He is actively living in our lives. God isn’t sitting in heaven simply watching our lives happen. He is right here with us walking beside us every step. His word is living and active in our lives. If you stop for a moment you will see God everywhere. In those moments speak out!
Gracious Heavenly Father, Your love endures forever and what a blessing that is. Help us to remember to speak out in Your name and tell the world about the things You have done. In Your Name, Amen
