Prayer

Merciful God, thank You. When I stop to think about it, I am overwhelmed by Your generosity. Your abundant love and provision are evident in my life. Help me to be grateful… grateful for food on my table, for a roof over my head, for my health, that I have loved ones who care about me, for a church family and a place where I can worship You freely, for safety and security without the immediate threat of war and violence, for abundant resources to take care of myself and help others, for the breath in my lungs, and for so much more. Help me to be grateful and to recognize and remember Your goodness. Empower me today to use my blessings to improve the lives of others, my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, here and around the world. Amen.
