Psalm 9:1-2

^1 [a]I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart;
I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
² I will be glad and exult in you;
I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.

There are 150 references to the word “praise: in the book of Psalms. In traditional worship (our 11 am service) we begin with a hymn of praise. In our Heart of Worship (our 9 am service) we begin with several praise songs. We also include prayers (Confession, and Prayers of the People.) We hear God’s Word read and proclaimed, and we offer ourselves to our God. The style is a little different and the songs are written in our day and time, and God is worshipped and praised.
