Proverbs 24:13-14

My child, eat honey, for it is good,
    and the drippings of the honeycomb are sweet to your taste.
Know that wisdom is such to your soul;
    if you find it, you will find a future,
    and your hope will not be cut off.

Prayer

Merciful God, You shower blessings upon us everyday. Today, we thank You for the sweet gifts in our lives; the love of family, the wisdom of good friends, the deliciousness of our favorite treats, and the gift of Your word. Help us to celebrate Your gifts to us and to be grateful. Empower us to name these blessings as we recognize You as the giver of all good in our world and to share our gifts with others. In Your name we pray, Amen.
