Scripture:  Job 38:31-33

³¹ “Can you bind the chains of the Pleiades,
or loose the cords of Orion?
³² Can you lead forth the Mazzaroth in their season,
or can you guide the Bear with its children?
³³ Do you know the ordinances of the heavens?
Can you establish their rule on the earth?

Prayer

Just as Job was counseled to consider the power of God in the forming of the constellations, and as the sailors from ancient days have turned to the heavenly lights for guidance, we are filled with wonder if we pause to consider those things in nature which split the darkness. Let our wondering about your power and plan keep us from wandering aimlessly through our lives. Speak to our souls as we pause some night to listen.. Amen.
