Isaiah 40: 30-31

Even youths will faint and be weary,
    and the young will fall exhausted;
but those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength,
    they shall mount up with wings like eagles,
they shall run and not be weary,
    they shall walk and not faint.

Psalm 27:13-14

I believe that I shall see the goodness of the Lord
    in the land of the living.
Wait for the Lord;
    be strong, and let your heart take courage;
    wait for the Lord!

Prayer

Holy One, we praise You for always being with us. We know that we can call on You for any travail in life. We know that we can wait on You and You will never abandon us. May we take comfort and find strength today in Your constant love, that pursues us no matter what. Challenge us to express our gratitude to You more often. In Your name we pray, Amen.
