Please join your friends at First Presbyterian Church as we celebrate Holy Week beginning with Palm Sunday on Sunday, March 29 at The Gathering at 8:50 a.m. and the 11 a.m. Worship service.

On Thursday, April 2 we will come together for our Maundy Thursday dinner starting at 5:30 p.m. and worship at 6:30 p.m. Reservations are needed for dinner, please call the church office at (863) 294-3121. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 5-10.

The Chapel will be open on Good Friday, April 3 from 12 noon till 3 p.m.

The Community Sunrise Service will be held in Martin Luther King Jr. Park on Lake Silver beginning at 630 a.m. This annual service is jointly conducted by the members of the Winter Haven Ministerial Association and the Winter Haven Interfaith Ministerial Alliance. This year, Dr. Negley will be delivering the Easter Sunrise Sermon, “But for a Footnote”, based on Mark 16:1-8, and First Pres. church member Sarah Claire Smith will be singing!

On Sunday, April 5, Easter morning will be filled with numerous celebrations! Easter services will be held at The Gathering at 8:50 and the 11 a.m. service. Join us for our Easter Breakfast at 9:45 a.m. in McLeod Hall. The children of the church are invited to meet on the front steps of the Christian Education Building at 10:25 a.m. to take their annual “before the Easter Egg Hunt photo.” The Egg Hunt will begin right after our group picture.
