You know that after two days the Passover is coming,
and the Son of Man will be handed over to be crucified.

Matthew 26:2

Throughout his earthly life, and along the dusty road to the cross, Jesus lived as a faithful follower of God Almighty. In the words from Matthew chapter 26, he tied His own crucifixion with the sacrifice of Passover.
