First Pres is honored to welcome the Rev. Cindy Kohlmann, Co-Moderator of the 223^rd General Assembly (2018) of the Presbyterian Church (USA) to our church on SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 23.

Rev. Kohlmann serves as the resource presbyter for the Presbyteries of Boston and northern New England. In her service to the church as Co-Moderator, she also travels the country connecting the Presbyterian Church and encouraging congregations and God’s children in following our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Rev. Kohlmann is speaking at the stated meeting of the Presbytery of Tampa Bay on Thursday, February 20, helping commission our own Hadley Owen and the other commissioners to the 224^th General Assembly (2020, Baltimore). She is visiting in our area later in the week and then preaching here in Winter Haven on Sunday. Her text will be from Matthew, chapter 25, and Rev. Kohlmann will help us explore the PCUSA’s new Matthew 25 Initiative.
