Have you ever met someone who just is always kind? I have and in fact, more than just a few.  This has made me think prayerfully for a moment.  Just what is it that is clearly seen in order that I can make the observation, “this person is truly kind.”

As a pastor I have been given many, and I mean many, opportunities to see just how much kindness plays a large part in the lives of people who confess a strong faith in Jesus Christ. In fact, most everyone I meet in the life of the Church is very kind and considerate.  Our Friendship Callers are an excellent example of people who exhibit kindness as they visit members who are for the most part confined to their home.

Join me in prayer as we thank God for giving us this wondrous gift of the Spirit.

Prayer

“Heavenly Father, maker of heaven and earth, we offer our thoughts of praise for your blessing of The Spirit, may we be forever blest, as we are able to live our lives in the spirit of loving kindness.  In His name we pray.  Amen.
