Worship

We hope you will join us for worship every Sunday. We offer THREE distinct services on Sunday mornings, except for the first Sunday of each month. The same sermon is preached in each service. The style and types of music may change as well as our Heart of Worship is a more informal setting. Come as you are and join us as we offer praise and Thanksgiving to our Lord.

First Sunday First Pres Family Gathering and One Worship Service – 1st Sunday of Each Month

At the Single 10:00 a.m. Worship Service you will be able to catch up with all your First Pres friends. The service will feature a unique order of worship with elements from our other services such as: several opening songs with our Praise Band, a traditional anthem, Sermon, Time with Younger Disciples, and a closing music by one of our hand bell groups or ensembles.

At 11:15 a.m., we hope you continue fellowship with our First Pres family and friends, with a Congregation-wide Fellowship Luncheon in McLeod Hall. Hosted by a ministry group of the church.

No reservations requested or required. There will be plenty of food. Any leftovers will be used by our Saturday Soup Kitchen.

 Sunday Worship Schedule –  8:00 am, 9:15 a.m. and 11:00 a.m

All other Sundays, staring Sept. 8th through May 31st, 2020 there are THREE worship services: Traditional Chapel, Contemporary Heart of Worship and Traditional Sanctuary. All services have childcare available for children under four years.

8:00 a.m. – TRADITIONAL – CHAPEL

A traditional Reformed worship service in our Chapel. The service is an intimate and traditional Reformed-style worship service. Musical ensembles offer special music on many Sundays.

9:15 a.m. – CONTEMPORARY – HEART OF WORSHIP

A Praise and Worship service held in our Sanctuary. Along with scripture, sermon, and prayers, a student-led Praise Band will help the congregation in adoration and showing reverence to God. Following the Time with Younger Disciples, children will be invited to join Ms. Lynn in music then dismissed to their Sunday School classes. There are also children ‘worship packets’ available in the Narthex for coloring during worship and the Fosset Family-room for those families who wish to worship together.

11:00 a.m. – TRADITIONAL – SANCTUARY WORSHIP

A traditional Reformed worship service in our Sanctuary. The service follows the same order of worship as the 8:00 a.m. with music from our Chancel Choir, organ as well as other instruments. The Fosset Family room and worship packets for children are also available during this service.

We hope you will join us any Sunday in worship, study, and fellowship!
