Prayer

Holy God, I thank You for the gift of memory. With gratitude, I remember those family and friends who have joined the great cloud of witnesses, for those who shaped who I am, and for those who have helped to share Your love with others. Help me to recognize Your presence in history and to be grateful for Your role in my life this day. Merciful God, please be with those whose memories are fading and for those who care for loved ones who struggle with memory. Amen.
