Carole Marotti’s nativity set is one made by her own hands. A talented artist, Carole, created the Holy Family … Mary, Joseph and the Baby Jesus of papier mache and then painted the figures. Notice the rich soft pastel colors she used. She made this nativity in 2010.

Scripture: Psalm 90:17

Thought for the Day: We can use our hands for God’s glory and to serve others. How can I glorify God through the use of my hands? How can I serve others with my hands? What can I do creatively with my hands?

Prayer: O God, we fold our hands in prayer. We lift our hands in praise. With tools in our hands we can create and repair. We can reach out our hands to offer assistance. We can comfort with our hands. We can caress and embrace with our hands. Keep us ever mindful that Christ has no hands on earth but our hands! Whatever our deeds, O Lord, confirm the works of our hands. In Christ’s name, we pray. Amen.
