Prayer (from Lent in Plain Sight, by Jill J. Duffield)
Yea though I do not know what this day, or any day, will bring, I know, Lord, that You art with me and will never leave me alone. You see me when I get up and when I lie down. There is nowhere I can go where You are not, not even the valley of the shadow of death. Help me abide in the goodness and mercy You relentlessly provide. Help me to remember that You anointest my head with oil and therefore there is nothing I lack, nothing more I want. Amen.
