One on-line dictionary gives us this definition for the word “righteous”

Prayer

Wonderful God, as You chose to walk on this earth and call people to follow You into an incredible new life, You indeed are the Righteous One. Let me cling to You and live Your life as a disciple of my Lord and Savior, Jesus, in whose name I pray. Amen.
